I think they’ve explicitly stated that initially this was supposed to be motorcycle gang Hamlet. Being a philistine I don’t know the play that well but I think they deviate after a while.

I’ve been trying to avoid searching things about the show since I’m certain to find spoilers. I already know a big one will surely be a downer in a few seasons, but it’s about the journey & not the spoiler. I was a big Shakespeare nerd in high school, so certain things throughout season 1 were red flags.

You absolutely must not Google anything! The most recent season finale had a huge thing in it and I’m not even sure if that season is on Netflix yet.
